Dogs also travel with ToloGo in Tampere

Woof, woof! Dogs of all breeds run around excitedly wagging their tails at the dog sports centre of the Tampere Region Dog Club (TamSK ry) in Niihamaa.

Completed in 2015, the hall is a dog hobbyist's heaven. TamSK's Christina Reinikainen says it is the largest space dedicated to dog sport in Finland.

  • This is a semi-warm artificial turf-based hall with around 2900 square metres. The hall is divided into five different fields, three of which are mainly for agility. Two of the fields are reserved for the smooth sports of rallying, tobogganing and dog dancing. During the summer, the hall also has three outdoor fields," Reinikainen explains.

Tolotech's services have been used in the hall for eight years, since its completion. There has been a need for intelligent access control and door opening systems, as the hall has had enough visitors. According to Reinikainen, the hall is busiest on weekday evenings and weekends.

  • Weekday evenings are mainly reserved for our regular club groups and on weekends the hall is often reserved for competition use. It is also possible to book shifts in the hall outside the regular groups. We offer individual shifts or standard shifts for a specific season and day of the week.

TamSK ry has been in existence since 1947. The association's activities are run entirely by volunteers. The voluntary work of the enthusiasts makes it possible to organise competitions and various events. Tolotech's access control system has been a prerequisite for facilitating the work of volunteers.

  • The people responsible for the codes do not need to physically go to the site, but can be set from their home computers and phones. It is easy to set the codes from the phone. It is convenient that the codes can be drawn directly from the software, and it is easy to set them for the desired period. As far as external rentals are concerned, for example, it is useful to be able to set the code to work on a specific day of the week," says Reinikainen.

Users have also been satisfied with the access control in the hall. Mr Reinikainen says that there has been little feedback on access control, as access to the hall has been easy.

  • Over the past eight years, there have of course been occasional disconnections where the door code device has failed to make contact. Even then, moving to another door has helped and you have always been able to get in.

The largest dog sports centre in Finland will continue to be a satisfied customer of Tolotech in the future. TamSK can continue to rely on smooth and carefree access to the hall - for people and animals alike!
